25 Hours Yin Fascial Yoga Teacher Training Course Myofascia & 5 Elements Qigong

Beta Lisboa and Simon Calder will share their insights and knowledge in this Applied Myofascial Release & Yin Fascial Yoga applied to 5 Elements Qigong training. This training will teach you how to effectively release physical and energetic blockages in the fascial system of the body. Traumatic imprints in the fascial system compromises the freedom of movement and expression in the physical body, stopping one to live fully in the present moment. It will give you a thorough understanding of the importance of the integration of Myofascial Release techniques to your Yin Yoga practice and teachings. You will also learn how to effectively incorporate the Practices of 5 Element Qigong with Yin Fascial Yoga. Looking at the structure of each of the Five elements and how and why each posture affects our system. It will give you a thorough understanding of the importance of the integration of 5 Element Qigong techniques to your Yin Yoga practice and teachings, and how they perfectly flow together.

What You will Learn from this Training


This training is an in-depth study of fundamentals in Myofascial release and 5 elements system in combination with YIN Yoga.
Through the release of tension & trauma stored in the fascial system, we can bring the body towards its fullest potential. This is a very effective tool to work with trauma release at the Yin yoga classes.
In this training, you will:

  1. learn how to uncover, reveal and release the blockages that are inhibiting the freedom of movement and expression in the physical body caused by energetic stagnation.
  2. Myofascial release with balls and TCM cupping applied in the yoga class
  3. Understand and experience 5 elements lectures and practice through yoga poses
  4. Learn how to put a Yin Fascial Yoga class together with the elements above for effective emotional release
  5. Combining Yin yoga with Qigong

This training is open to anyone with an interest in Yin yoga, Qigong and the Myofascial Release system. Non-teachers are also welcome to join, but some prior experience or background in yin/yoga practice is highly recommended! 

Certification


25 hours Yoga-alliance CE. AALO-students can add this 25-hour module to their 200 hour yoga-alliance certification

Requirements


Please bring your own yoga mat and tennis balls, all other props will be provided by the yoga studio
